Meet the Clarks

Hello! We are the Clarks! My name is Ashley and my Husband's name is Jaden. We met in March 2023 and were married December 2023. We have three kiddos, two that I brought from a previous marriage, Maximus and Ralph, and a little baby girl, Frankie. We live in Star Valley, WY and love it. Jaden grew up here and I have adopted this valley as home.

I am an artist, primarily oil painting and charcoal. I have been sharing and selling my art since 2020. It wasn't until the beginning of 2025 that Jaden and I decided to expand that business to more than just art but all things homesteading, homemaking and faith-building.

As Christians, Our Savior and Our Family are the most important things in our lives. Everything we do we try to foster connection, build relationships, grow our home life and teach of Our Redeemer.

Why "Butter & Honey"

One night while extremely pregnant, dealing with insomnia, heartburn and all the symptoms you have while in your third trimester, I decided to read my scriptures. Specifically, the words of Isaiah. He describes a virgin that will conceive and bear a son called Immanuel. "Butter and Honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil and choose the good." I chose to understand this as childhood nourishment: Innocence, purity and simplicity. Butter & Honey is the Word of God. Isaiah later describes " a young man shall nourish a young cow and two sheep; And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk they shall give he shall eat butter; for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land." I believe this means we should return to the simple truths, uncomplicated like a childhood nourishment to be fed when things get confusing and complicated. I loved this for the name of our shop because it's what we want this to be and to become: A revisitation to Simple truths.
